Author Linda Maria Frank

[Wilmington, NC, August 8, 2018]  Linda Maria Frank, author of Annie Tillery Mystery Series, has been the Top Female Author in the 2018 Top Female Author Awards in the Young Adults/Teen category. Frank was chosen from a field hundreds of authors by a panel of judges.

"Civilizations are defined by their stories," Frank stated. "First it was oral history, then parchment, and finally books. The stories in book, provided by the author, whether they be fiction or fact, give an insight into what the people of a particular culture believe at any one given time. What they say is important for it reflects their values, their history, their use of technology, and what they wish to tell future generations, or hide from them."

Linda writes great teen mystery books, inspired by a childhood passion for Nancy Drew books and the popular television series, CSI. She combines an appealing heroine, Annie Tillery, with a gripping story plot to create new fiction books for mystery readers. Her works are exactingly authentic, as she finished her teaching career in high school as a Department Chairperson, teaching biology, chemistry and forensic science. She then went on to teach forensic science and biotechnology at Hofstra University.

Linda has written 5 books in Annie Tillery Mystery Series:

The Madonna Ghost
Girl with Pencil, Drawing
Secrets in the Fairy Chimneys
The Mystery of the Lost Avenger
Making a Mystery with Annie Tillery

Reviewers have high praise for Frank's Annie Tillery Mystery Series. One reviewer stated, "Linda Frank might as well be the next Carolyn Keene with her new age mystery luring readers from every angle--suspense, romance, and modern forensics. This is a perfect book for all ages, particularly young readers who might find Nancy Drew a bit old-fashioned. Written in a way where every chapter leaves you with a crisp, familiar image of each character and location."
